Similan Islands

The Similan Islands is a unique wildlife reserve of Thailand. The archipelago consists of nine small islands in the Indian Ocean not far from province Phang Nga. The islands are unusually beautiful and with their nature and relieves resemble the Seychelles very much.

With the advent of civilization, a lot of Thailand islands lost their pristine beauty (for example, Phi Phi Islands). The same cannot be said about the Similan Islands. Every day these islands are patrolled by rangers, and they are closed for visiting in the rain period.

When you are in Thailand, visit these islands! Read our reviews and get more detailed info.

How to get to the Similan Islands

You can get to the islands by sea only in a tourist group or by yacht (rental or your own). For more information see our review of the Similan Island.
