We decided to smooth the disappointment of our unsuccessful journey to Phi Phi Don in five-star Pullman Phuket Arcadia.

The hotel is located on the Andaman Sea cliff. Its vast territory is literally immersed in the National Park greenery. There are several hotel complexes, private bungalows and villas with individual pools. The hotel’s territory is really huge and can be seen in full just from a bird`s eye view! Near the hotel there is the Naithon which is a great place for a relaxing beach holiday: waves are low and the water is crystal clear.

How to get to Pullman Phuket Arcadia hotel

It is not far from Phuket International Airport, just a 15 minute drive. You can book a transfer from the airport or rent a car.

There is a road along the beach, but it is not busy. At the road you can find a lot of cafes and restaurants, grocery stores, gift shops and street stalls with food: fresh seafood, grilled meat, fruit, fresh juice and much more.

By car it usually took us 40 minutes to get to the Central Festival shopping center, and 30 minutes to the Big Buddha Temple.

Hotel review

The hotel area is neat, immersed in the tropical forest and flowers and is truly fascinating.

Open cars and mini-buses come and go all around the area. They can comfortably drive you to any place you need. The local staff is very friendly and helpful, any they are ready to satisfy your any request. All over the hotel area there are souvenir shops and Thai Lemongrass House beauty stores, two outdoor swimming pools, a sauna, a restaurant and spa. In the main hall you can listen to pleasant live music plays late in the afternoon. There is also free Wi-Fi and a well-equipped gym with the ocean incredible view. Every morning there are Yoga and Pilates activities in the open ocean breeze.

The Pullman hotel has two spacious parking lots. Your car can be driven to the entrance any the time you need and neatly parked back by a staff member.

The hotel spa-centre is a comfortable pleasant place with an impeccable service. We really liked its calm atmosphere and kind treatment, so we recommend visiting it!

Our room

We stayed in a beautiful and spacious room decorated in the modern western style. There are a huge bed, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a telephone, a flat-screen TV, a safe, an iron, a wardrobe, a desk, a sofa, an electric kettle, a mini-bar, a coffee machine — everything one could need. In the bathroom we found a hairdryer, bathrobes, a shower box, a bath, a toilet bowl, shampoo, creams and other toiletries. There was another large shower room. Room service and linen change are provided every day.

The room has a cozy balcony with a sofa and fluffy pillows. It often rained in the evening. So, every evening we had a delightful rest at the balcony relaxing after a busy day, observing the tropical gardens underneath, listening to the birds and cicadas. The balcony door had an anti-mosquito screen, so insects did not disturb our sleep.

Breakfast was included and very tasty. It was a buffet breakfast serving numerous dishes for any taste: pastries, cheese, appetizers, sushi, delicious fresh juice and yogurt with, fresh fruit. Everything was very fresh and tasty. We did not want to leave the buffet.

There is a 24 hour restaurant on the area, but we missed it because of our continuous travelling around the island. The restaurant for sure has a great service and its delicious food will not disappoint you, so try it!

There are two pools, every with the ocean spectacular view. The central pool gets crowded at dinner time, all chaise-loungers are occupied. From time to time the staff delivery cool water and fruit plates. At the pool there is a shower where you will find Thai Lemongrass House gel and cream.

Naithon Beach

Naithon beach is not long, clean, quiet and almost deserted, surrounded with conifers meter, where you can hide for the scorching sun. The water is clear, waves are small. There are practically no tourist attractions like jet skis and parachutes, no noise and nightlife, so it is a perfect place for a calm leisure relaxation.
